At AWE Asia 2024, I joined Niantic's presence to introduce 8th Wall to the APAC developer community. My focus was on how creators can use 8th Wall to build location-based AR experiences enhanced with Gaussian Splats — a novel approach to capturing real-world spaces with photorealistic point clouds. Through demos and conversations, I showcased how Gaussian Splats could be integrated into 8th Wall's world-anchored workflows, helping developers design richer, more immersive spatial experiences.
